Hem-B-Gone® Supplement Facts
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 2-3 capsules 3 times daily with food until symptoms are gone or as directed by your physician.
Caution: Always tell your doctor what supplements you are taking, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or taking sleep, heart or antidepressant medications.
Rare but Potential Side Effects
We have not received any reports of side effects after using Hem-G-Gone™, but some people have reported side effects when using its ingredients individually, mostly when exceeding recommended doses. Potential side effects for the individual ingredients are listed below:
Witch Hazel (leaf and bark) Extract (Standardized to 15% Tannins)
Nausea, vomiting and/or constipation 1 have been reported after consuming large doses of witch hazel.
Do not consume witch hazel products that contain isopropyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is poisonous and is not
intended for human consumption.
Horse Chestnut Seed Extract (Standardized to 20% Aescin)
In rare cases, people reported itching (when applied externally to the skin), nausea, and/or gastrointestinal upset
2 after taking Horse Chestnut Seed Extract.
Ginger (root) Extract 8:1
It is rare, but some people have reported allergic reactions to ginger root. Allergic reactions can include difficulty breathing,
closing or swelling of the throat, and/or swelling of the tongue, lips or face. If you have known food allergies, take
Hem-B-Gone® with caution and discontinue use immediately and contact your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
Bilberry (fruit) Extract 4:1
Like Ginger Root, the only known side effects of Bilberry are potential food allergies. If you know you have food allergies, you
should use caution when taking any supplement.
Oat Straw (as Avena Sativa) Extract 10:1
There are no known side effects or interactions with oat straw, but if you have known allergies to oats or you have celiac disease,
you should consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Hem-B-Gone®.
